Police are appealing to the public for information to help locate 13-year-old Eva Chen, who has been reported missing from the Westmead area in New South Wales. Eva was last seen at Westmead Railway Station at approximately 11am on Thursday, 19 August 2026. Officers from the Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and have since commenced inquiries to determine her whereabouts.
Police and Eva’s family are concerned for her welfare due to her young age and a medical condition. At the time she was last seen, Eva was wearing a white or beige jumper, light blue jeans and white slippers. She was also carrying a light-coloured puffer jacket. Police describe Eva as being of Asian appearance, approximately 140cm tall, with a thin build and long black hair.
Investigators believe she may frequent the Parramatta and Turramurra areas and are urging anyone who may have seen her or has information about her whereabouts to come forward. Members of the public are encouraged to carefully review any information they may have that could assist police in locating Eva and ensuring she returns safely to her family.
