Funeral Tribute for Dennis Michael Stevenson Dennis Michael Stevenson, 36, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dennis was born in Lock Haven to David Sr. and Denise (Culvey) Stevenson of Lamar. He attended Porter Township Elementary School from kindergarten through second grade, followed by Mill Hall Elementary School, Central Mountain Middle School and Central Mountain High School. Although he did not graduate with his original class, Dennis earned his GED the following year, achieving the second-highest score in the state.
Dennis was a remarkably talented and creative person whose passions touched many areas of life. He was a gifted artist, musician, chef and plant enthusiast. His love of drawing began in grade school and continued throughout his life. Pencil drawings were his specialty, and during high school, his artistic abilities earned him recognition and several awards.
Dennis began playing guitar at age 12 and later became a member of several bands during his teenage years. He loved discovering new music and sharing his passion for playing with family and friends. He also developed a deep passion for cooking. Though he had no formal culinary training, Dennis became a skilled chef through approximately 20 years of working in food service. He took great pride in preparing elegant dishes and presenting his creations beautifully for others to enjoy.
Dennis had a special connection with nature and plants. He excelled at creating terrariums, kokedamas and other living plant arrangements. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly taking long walks through the woods while collecting moss, stones and natural materials for his creations. Dennis will be remembered for his creativity, talents, love of nature, and the joy he shared with those around him.
